Hi, I'm Ingram Spencer. My young family and I love living in South Yarra and I am running for Council because I want to help transform it into the best it can be. I work for a large global business in which I continuously seek feedback from customers to improve the delivery, quality, and cost of services we provide - to give customers what they want, not what I want. Residents are Council's customers however recent Council decisions have been out of touch with what North Ward residents and business owners want. I promise to represent you to my best ability, together we will make a change.
My name is Martha Tsamis.
I’m your steadfast, long-standing local resident and entrepreneur, running as an Independent candidate for the North Ward City of Stonnington.
I have been extremely fortunate, and in many ways blessed to be living and trading in South Yarra, and to have been actively working in the City of Stonnington community.
VOLUNTEER:
As a passionate volunteer member of the Stonnington Liquor Accord Forum, I find myself in my sixteenth year providing a meaningful and rewarding service to The City of Stonnington. This selfless committee focuses on maintaining a harmonious equilibrium between residence and a number of community stakeholders.
Working alongside council, Victoria Police and the Victorian State Government ensure a safer environment for local residents, staff and visitors to Stonnington licensed venues. The ongoing success of this committee is underpinned by our ability to engage, listen, act and deliver.

Hi!
Here is a little about me, please feel free to message me to find out more.
=> I have a passion for the power of great architecture to enhance neighbourhood character (and have a degree in architecture)
=> I can bring leadership, governance and innovation to Council (as a Strategy Director with an MBA)
=> And I have a strong desire to help my community thrive (as a mum of three young boys, the voluntary president of Brookville Kindergarten for the last 3 years and on the Stonnington Toy Library Committee before that).
I have decided to run for Council because:
=> I am a Kiwi who has lived in Stonnington for 13 years and became an Australian citizen this year. I have been so inspired by the privilege of becoming Australian that I want to give back to my community.
=> Accelerated by COVID, I feel that our neighbourhoods are at an important point of change and we need a clear vision about how we are going to ensure that Stonnington remains one of the best places in the world to live. Some of these critical pressures include the transformation of retail and local business, safety concerns, environmental responsibilities, mental health and loneliness, and dramatically increasing density.
=> My experiences volunteering with Brookville Kindergarten and the Stonnington Toy Library have been incredibly rewarding as I have seen the impact strong leadership and vision can directly have on social cohesion in our community. I see being a councillor as being an acceleration of that ability to make positive change.
=> I love where I live and want to ensure that it will remain a wonderful place for my family to grow up.
I am totally independent and not associated or a member of any political parties. I am self-funding my campaign.
Hello my fellow North Ward residents my name is Alexander Taylor, but you can call me Alex and I am a 46 year old, proud Gubbi Gubbi / Aboriginal man, who has found his spiritual home here in Toorak in the North Ward.
I have worked in the travel and tourism and hospitality industries for the past 22 years, which means I can communicate with and listen to and understand people from all walks of life and diverse backgrounds.
